The client is blue chip multinational vendor, wish to appoint a Pre Sales Consultant. This hire will be operating from Texas as part of a US team. The role is a home-based anywhere in Texas, although proximity to Houston would be desirable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive technical relationships with key customer accounts, acting as the Technical Account Manager whilst focusing on business development opportunities.
- Act as a Technology Evangelist/Trusted Security Advisor.
- The role primarily consists of providing technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations and installations, of the appropriate solutions for customers.
Skills:
- The candidate Should be able to demonstrate a good blend of business/commercial, sales and technical skills.
- Should have a strong understanding of the market issues and trends affecting the IT Security business.
- Security experience should include some exposue to areas such as Security Risk Management, Vulnerability Assessment and Intrusion Prevention.
Education/Experience:
An Undergraduate with 3+ years experience sales of networking products will be preferred. The candidate with prior experience selling IT security products will be an advantage.
